Welp. Not the greatest of starts to the series, but I suppose it could have been worse. We at least went into Monday night with one of the small parlays, (albeit, the worst payout of the small parlays) which gave us the opportunity to throw in a small hedge. As a lifelong Patriots fan, I got what I deserved betting against the Patriots and for the Jets, and of course losing both. Let’s see how we fared:

14 legs (big parlay): $10 to win $127.66

  • Ravens (+3.5) -500 ✅
  • Giants (+3.5) -530 ✅
  • Bears (+3.5) -590 ❌
  • Bills (+5.5) -530 ✅
  • Vikings (+3.5) -620 ✅
  • Chiefs (+2.5) -520 ✅
  • Falcons (+5.5) -500 ✅
  • 49ers (+3.5) – 520 ✅
  • Commanders (+7.5) -590 ✅
  • Charges (+3.5) -520 ✅
  • Eagles (+3.5) -500 ✅
  • Jets (+3.5) -520 ❌
  • Lions (+3.5) -590 ✅
  • Rams (+3.5) -205 ❌

8 Leg (medium parlay): $10 to win $39.49 ❌

7 Leg (medium parlay): $10 to win $31.39 ❌

6 Leg (small parlay): $10 to win $24.71 ❌

5 Leg (small parlay): $10 to win $19.78 ❌

5 Leg (small parlay): $10 to win $19.47 ❌

Big time yikes. However, I was at least able to hedge one of the small parlays, placing a small $5 bet to win a life-changing $9.80.

Final result: $60 in losses, $9.80 in wins for a total net loss of $50.20
